We are seeking a tech-savvy and eager-to-learn IT Support Trainee to join our support team. This entry-level role is perfect for individuals looking to start a career in Information Technology without previous industry experience.
You will receive full training on IT systems, hardware, and software support, and gain hands-on experience in troubleshooting, ticketing systems, and IT asset management. By the end of the program, successful trainees may be offered a permanent position in the team.
Provide first-line technical support to internal staff via phone, email, or helpdesk ticketing system.
Assist with diagnosing and resolving common hardware and software issues.
Set up laptops, desktops, and peripheral devices for new hires.
Help with user account creation, password resets, and access management.
Log and document support incidents and solutions for future reference.
Learn to manage printers, network devices, and communication tools.
Support the IT team with hardware inventory, updates, and office tech needs.
Shadow experienced IT technicians to develop troubleshooting and customer service skills.
No previous IT experience required – full training provided.
A college diploma, A-levels, or equivalent is preferred (not required).
Interest in computers, technology, and solving technical problems.
Basic understanding of Windows or macOS operating systems is a plus.
Any IT-related coursework, bootcamp, or certification (e.g., CompTIA A+) is a bonus but not mandatory.
Strong willingness to learn and grow in a tech role.
Friendly and helpful attitude with good verbal communication.
Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail.
Ability to follow instructions and ask questions when needed.
Paid, full-time trainee role with pathway to permanent employment.
